The perfect cup of tea

image
For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed a nice cup of tea. I inherited my love of tea from my mum who taught me that black tea should be drunk medium weak to enjoy it’s flavours. Being dairy free means that I enjoy all my teas milk free. I have tried on a couple of occasions to add milk but I just can’t bring myself to drink it.

I continue to enjoy a nice cup of tea and share my experiences when I can. However, my mum decided in her wisdom that my tea reviews would look more inviting if undertaken in a nice cup and saucer. So she bought me this wonderful tea cup set for my blog. So thank you mum, it’s been tried and tested over the past few days and it makes drinking a cup of tea a truly pleasurable experience.

    • Hi Stephanie. Thank you for your kind comments. I am very lucky to have a wonderful mum, who always knows best and still spoils me 😊. I had a lovely lazy weekend thank you. Happy new year to you as well.

  1. Very pretty tea set. It definitely makes a cup of tea taste better. I tend to drink out of mugs because I like a decent-sized drink and also because I am a super-klutz and worry about breaking my good china…but I should attempt to be more ladylike sometimes and drink out of a proper cup and saucer. 🙂

    • Thank you. I tend to drink my tea out of a mug for the same reasons. I am using this tea set a lot and am trying hard not to break it. For me tea always seems to taste nicer out of a delicate cup and saucer.

  2. After you commented on my tea post, I came and read yours! One of my favourite teas ever is Pukka three mint, and reading through your blog we are so similar! I’m also seriously considering embarking on a dairy-free diet 🙂

  3. yes, it never hurts to have more tea cup collection. even if you don’t take picture of them. they still beneficial as a feast for the eyes. i have tons of them. from tea cups alone, to tea sets. depending on what type of tea i’ll make (almost always loose leaf), i’d have choices of size and color to complement my tea 🙂
