Review of Pukka Three Mint Tea

I first discovered this tea by accident. To cut a long story short I often look forward to a nice big cup of mint tea after a yoga session at the local gym. This is normally Twinings mint tea. They had obviously run out of and instead of my usual teabag I was presented with a Pukka three mint tea bag instead.

To confess I was not sure what to expect as I can be a creature of habit and enjoy my routine by having a bit of me time with my nice big cup of mint tea. I hoped that it would be nice but was unsure what to expect. The first thing that hit me with the tea was the lovely aroma coming from my cup. It immediately hit me. I could smell the aroma of several types of mint. I personally like to keep the mint tea bag in the hot water and enjoy the change of the colour aroma and flavour of the tea as the teabag begins to infuse with the hot water. The hot water instantly changed colour as the teabag gradually infused in it. On sipping it I could instantly taste the aromas of the various mints included within the teabag. As I swallowed the mint tea this may sound strange but I could feel it warming my stomach. It had an instant soothing effect. I also found the tea to be very refreshing. I really enjoyed this surprise cup of tea. I then had to go on my phone and google it. I discovered that it was available at most supermarkets and cost approximately £2.49 for 20 teabags. So I added it to my next shopping delivery. The teabags themselves come in a pretty green box. Each teabag is individually encased within own packaging. I thought this is great as I often like to take my own teabags went out in about as I struggled to drink ordinary black tea.

I would highly recommend that anybody who wishes to try an alternative to the normal tea give these teabags a whirl. If like me you drink your tea without milk and like alternative fruit and herbal teas I think this may become one of your favourites. Well done Pukka teas for producing one of my favourite mint teas. Now a regular in my shopping trolley.
