Review of Pom-Bear Original Potato Snacks

I first discovered a snacks sometime ago courtesy of my mum who is gluten free. I was hungry and fancied a savoury snack whilst out. Just like me my mum is always prepared with emergency foodstuffs in her bag for when she is out and about. She checked the labelling on her emergency packet of Pom-Bear snacks and discovered that they were also suitable for an individual who follows a dairy and lactose free diet. So I took my mum up on the offer to eat a bag of potato snacks. If I’m honest I wasn’t expecting much being that they were gluten free and clearly aimed at children. On opening the pack I was greeted with mini potato snacks shaped in the form of cute little smiling bears. On biting into the potato snack they were light and fluffy and melted slightly on the tongue. They had a subtle hint of salt flavouring to them without it being too overpowering. I found them to be very moorish and was disappointed to finish the packet so quickly. If I’m honest I’m surprised how nice They actually tasted. They are now a regular part of my shopping basket and are often used as my backup emergency snack when going out and about with a sweet treat.

Now for the nutritional bit. Each packet weighs 19g has 95 calories, 4.8g of fat, 0.5g of sugar and 0.27g of salt.

In summary I love these snacks and totally agree with the strapline on the back of their packaging which says Pom-Bear has created this deliciously light in crispy potato snacks that simply melt in your mouth. These bear shaped snacks are great fun to eat and really yummy too!
