Review of Tesco’s free from chocolate mousse

On my quest to find new free from desserts that I have not tried I stumbled across Tesco’s free from chocolate mousse. Being a free from dessert it is dairy free, gluten and wheat free. imageimage
On it’s packaging it is described as a rich and indulgent dessert. You get two pots which weigh 90g each. Each dessert has 248 calories, 16.2g of sugar 13.2g of fat and 0.2g of salt. On opening the individual pot you are greeted by a chocolate mousse which has a dusting of chocolate powder on top. On the placing the spoon into the dessert the layers of the mousse were clearly evident. It looked light and fluffy in appearance and very appealing.
On taking a mouthful of the mousse I could clearly taste the cocoa powder on top and was surprised at how light and airy the mousse was. There was a nice chocolate flavour throughout the dessert. This was just the right amount. I felt that this dessert was definitely designed for grown-ups and was slightly rich on consuming the whole pot, but not too much. I was pleasantly surprised by this dessert and will definitely be buying it again. I am now looking forward to trying the other desserts in the Tesco’s free from range.

Hello, I love your blog! And thank you so much for following mine. 🙂 I’m pretty sure this was the Tesco dessert my husband and I tried when we were in Edinburgh earlier this year. It was so good we went back to the store to buy more. I have found that many of the Tesco brand foods are very tasty.
