Review of Tesco’s free from Italian lemon desert

Well I’m trying to keep up with my blog with my poor attempt from August. As a result I have purchased a few more free from items to try not any excuses are needed of course. I had to have an emergency stop off the other night for my other half to get a pizza from Tesco’s. As the free from chilled section was close by I decided to get myself a treat. So I opted for these lemon deserts as I have not tried them before.

They come in a pack of two. Each pot is 90g has 237 calories, 16.2g of sugar 9.9g of fat and 0.1 g of sugar. Being free from they are dairy, gluten and wheat free. Well sadly I was very disappointed these deserts. At the bottom of each pot is a small amount of lemon sauce. I found this quite difficult to find and on eating it found it to be quiet overpowering and artificial in flavour. Above this is a small amount of sponge which was pretty dry and hard. On a positive note the main part of the pudding ( top layer) which was mouse was light and fluffy in texture. However, if ate in isolation it lacked any flavour. I did eat all 3 components of the desert together but it still didn’t tickle my taste buds. Sorry Tesco’s but I wouldn’t recommend this desert and won’t be buying these again.
